This module focuses on the Earned Value Management (EVM) APMG Qualification, which provides a robust framework for integrating cost, time, and performance data to assess project progress and forecast outcomes. EVM is widely recognised as a best practice for measuring project performance and control, enabling proactive decision-making and accountability. Unlike MSP®, which operates at the strategic programme level, EVM is primarily applied at the project and portfolio control level. It is therefore relevant across both the operational and operational strategic pathways, making it suitable for professionals such as Project Control Managers, Cost Engineering Leads, Scheduling Leads, and Portfolio Analysts who need to ensure accurate reporting and performance forecasting. The module emphasises both the technical foundations of EVM calculations and their interpretation for managerial decision-making.
